The most annoying thing about this tariff dispute is that everyone is winning from it politically; Pelosi already advanced the Dems agenda saying it’s just a distraction from the Mueller report... Trump got a break from all the flack from the trade war with China AND the Mueller report, and this guy here, Secretary Ebrard, is enjoying a great moment with lots of media attention across the world. Obrador on the other hand got a good distraction from the disaster at the social security institute.
I’m just annoyed about all of this theater; these trade wars
are hurting many americans, and if tariffs come they will hurt us dearly too.
